About Shock Rebuilders.com (SRC)
As I watch the Internet chat files a common thread has always occurred; "where can I get my shocks serviced?" Hopefully this site can help with that. As far as recommendations go, SRC will not endorse any one shop specifically - the market and the reviews will determine that.
Just who is SRC? Simply one person, Jim Kurk. I am solely responsible for 100% of the content. There are no banks of computers, no secretaries, no accounting depts. The shock rebuild business is coming of age and as consumers become more savvy, I hope I can provide some information so they can make an informed decision as to whom they should send their shocks to for service.
My background includes 13 years of shock service at a "major" snowmobile shock service outlet. I concentrated on the revalveing end and making custom shocks. My full time job as an R & D Technician at a Fortune 200 company has taught me the technical side of mechanical engineering so I can apply some of that towards the specifics of shock repair. I am always happy to field general questions about about shock service and applications and will help where I can, however some of the vendors/shops listed may be a better source for specific applications and service tips.
I hope you find this information helpful. Happy Travels, Jim
